Introduction

 

International Space SODA established in 2008, near Center-Kita Station (Yokohama Blue / Green Line) to meet the ever-growing needs of young children from families where two languages are spoken, as well as Japanese families.

In today's ever-expanding global society, language and communication are of the utmost importance. Later the language mechanisms loose the extraordinary absorptive and selective capacities. In order to produce good results, education should follow and utilise the special natural qualities that are present in developing minds.

Our aim is to provide a warm, nurturing and learning environment with hands-on activities, which will allow children to fulfill their potential at their own pace. We provide a noncompetitive atmosphere that will help prepare children to come to terms with their surroundings.
The child should be at least 2 years old and ready for mother-infant sepration. SODA welcomes all children, from all races, nationalities, cultures and religions.

As you can see below, our school name "SODA" is named from the first letter of our conceptional message. While we have been supporting a number of families who has different life circumstance or philosophies for their children education, we confirmed that our message "SODA" would suite not only for you chlildrens, but also for the parents who look for international environments for their childcare education.

Raising child in abroad is always challenge, no matter you are Japanese or native English speaker. Especially in Japan, it is a biggest challanges to find a reasonable and plausible international school beside around US military base area.

In order to maximize English speaking environment, all of our English teachers are native speakers, and students are also expected to communicate only in English. There are number of students comes from international families, such as Australia, India, Hungary, Spain, China and so on.
