The first class of 2015!!

Yes, that is me and those guys in those pictures.....yes, that's me!!
How was your New Years Break?
I went to see my family back home to spend time with them
and ate A LOT of food with them!
Is it only me that feels like
something really big is going to happen this year
and that it will be a bigger,
and a better year than last year??
Today is the 5th of January, which means it is the first day of work or school for some people.
For us, it is our first day at SODA this year!!
We are very excited about the good start we had,
and the kids seemed really excited to come back to get some English in their system and to see their friends!
So on our first day, I wanted my kids to go back to the basics since it is the first week of the year.
So here is a picture from the Beginners class room.
This is a 4-year-old girl who is doing Sight Words.
As you can see,
she is writing the word 'my'.
This is where they
-look at the word,
-say the word,
and then -write it on a paper or whiteboard.
She said the word
and wrote the word...
WOW!!!
SHE DID A GREAT JOB!
Intermediate Class!
I had them to write simple spelling words at the beginning,
I taught them again to help each other when they need help,
I always love seeing my students help each other, when they do not know what to do with their assignments or even when they need help with other things.
They all have a kind heart.:)

They all did such a great job!!

But guess what happened!!!
He started to write the correct way
on his own!!
He fixed the grammer.
such as...
If we write 'We' at the beginning,
we have to use the plural form for whatever noun you're using!
And......HE DID IT!!!
Awesome job!!
These are only part of the things we did today,
We have more fun and exciting things going on EVERY DAY!
